PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
NUR-BAR is a high purity barite produced by Siprion and is used as a weighting agent for increasing the density of all types of drilling fluids.

FEATURES
NUR-BAR with its common chemical name is barium sulfate is chemically inert to all drilling fluid additives and meets or exceeds all API specifications.

TREATMENT
The amount of NUR-BAR needed to increase mud density is calculated as follows:
Bags of NUR-BAR/100 bbl of mud =1470 (W2 - W1)

where: W1 = initial weight
           W2 = desired weight

TOXICITY:
Inhalation of Barite dust should be avoided, while the use of appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron is recommended.

SHIPPING:
Transportation of NUR-BAR is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

PACKAGING:
NUR-BAR is available in 25 kg 5 Ply Kraft paper sack with one layer of Polyethylene lining. Special packing can be accommodated based on client needs.
