Mr. Nurul Hussain founded Nuricon in 1975 after an illustrious 17 year career in Pakistan Burmah Shell (now Shell Pakistan).  He held various senior management positions where he was responsible for construction of all of the company’s different loading and despatch facilities throughout the country, managing its largest oil installation at Keamari port in Karachi, designing and implementing new organization and methods to improve the company’s efficiency and managing the distribution and logistics of shipping gasoline and diesel products to their destinations in the country.  His professional experience was supplement by various courses that he attended which were organized by Shell both in Pakistan and Overseas.

 In between Shell and founding Nuricon, Mr. Hussain also worked for a year as General Manager Technical of Petroleum Storage Development Corporation which was set up by the Government of Pakistan to design and build underground petroleum storage facilities in strategic locations across the country.

Mr. Hussain holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh  Muslim University, supplemented with post-graduate training in the United Kingdom from 1948 to 1952.

S. Anwer Hussain

Anwer co-founded Nuricon with Mr. Nurul Hussain when he returned to Pakistan after attending university in United States. As a Board Member he remains involved in Nuricon’s key strategic initiatives, financial guidance and governance.

 Anwer has also served as Vice President of Corporate Development and International of Allis-Chalmers Energy, a NYSE listed company that was sold to Seawell, a subsidiary of Seadrill in 2011. In his last role, he was the lead from Allis-Chalmers’ side in its integration with Seawell which led to creation of the new successor company, Archer.

 Anwer holds a B.S. Economics from M.I.T.  (1976) and M.B.A. from Stanford University (1979)

Syed Ameen Hussain

Ameen is responsible for the day to day running of Nuricon. In addition he is also responsible for New Business and New Product Development.

In this role he works closely with Khalid in expanding Nuricon’s range of products and services and company’s expansion into the rapidly growing field of oilfield services in Pakistan. Ameen also played a key role in obtaining ISO 9000 certification for Nuricon and all of its subsidiary and affiliated companies. Ameen holds a B.Sc. in Management from Oklahoma State University (1987) and M.Sc. in Energy Management & Policy from University of Pennsylvania (1992)

Khalid Saeed Khan

Khalid joined Nuricon in 1985 in the Karachi office and transferred to Islamabad in July 1986 to establish the Northern Region office.  He has led all of Nuricon’s sales activities in the Northern Region since then with distinction where he has set up its impressive service facility and footprint. In addition, Khalid has played a key role in Nuricon’s entry into the various oilfield services’ businesses.

 Prior to joining Nuricon, Khalid spent 11 years with Oiltools Saudi Arabia in a variety of sales, marketing and customer service roles.

 Khalid holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from N.E.D. Engineering  University, Karachi
